The Goresbrook School is an expanding all-through educational establishment that provides the opportunity for students to study from Nursery through to Sixth Form.
After an initial consultation, we recognised Goresbrook School already has a powerful sense of brand identity that we wanted to incorporate into our design plans along with the objective to provide a selection of furniture that would be adaptable and durable to create active learning spaces for students to enjoy.
In the Sixth Form area, we primarily used white desking, tables, and storage to give a modern, yet contemporary fresh look, alongside rustic oak library-style tables to create a warm contrast. We also used blue accent colours in the seating upholstery and polypropylene finishes to fully complement the existing theme running through the school.
We are delighted with the finished project, it is a bright, modern, and functional space that fits perfectly within the rest of the school and where students can study, relax, and socialise.
Focus
Sixth Form Study Hub
For the Sixth Form area, we provided White desking that provides a striking contrast to the oak Library table in the main study area.
The large library study table is a real statement piece of furniture, featuring a rustic cutline edge top, study task lights, and finished with a modern black RAL metal frame.
Bench style desking lines the perimeter of the room with upholstered lounge chairs on castors.
Resource Area
The resource area features two-seater full-back sofas facing each other with a white rectangular coffee table with a shelf, and black legs.
Modern tables in a variety of heights line the perimeter of the room with wipe clean, reinforced Polypropylene stools in accent colours (Grey, Blue, and Reflex Blue).
