Innovative educational furniture refurbishment for Sixth Form Centre
Sidney Stringer Academy underwent a remarkable transformation last year as part of a project-managed educational furniture refurbishment programme. We were thrilled to be a part of this exciting project and were able to supply furniture for the dining area, recording studio, multi-academy hall, chill-out rooms, classrooms, staff base, and also a ICT suite.
This summer we were delighted to receive another opportunity to work with the academy and provide additional furniture for the Sixth Form Centre to enhance its flexibility and functionality.
The school is part of a multi-academy trust known for its inclusive approach towards education. With over 1100 students aged between 11 to 19, this school offers a supportive and nurturing environment that additionally helps students reach their full potential.
Through the ESPO 282 Framework, we took extra care in selecting pieces that not only met our durability standards but were also suitable for the unique needs of education. The furniture included modern and innovative bench-style tables and seats with both panel end and metal loop frames to complement the existing style previously provided to the school.
To ensure minimal disruption to the learning experience of the students, the delivery and installation were completed during the school’s end-of-summer term break. This ensured that the refurbished environments were ready for the students to begin their new academic year.
