Modern office furniture refurbishment at the County Hall building in Newport, Isle of Wight.
After successfully winning a mini-tender competition, the council tasked us to source an office desking solution that would accommodate monitor arms that had already been sourced and purchased. Due to the design, we arranged the manufacture of a back to back bench unit with larger scoop cut-outs to accommodate the monitor arm clamps.
Each bench desk unit incorporated cable trays, cable management, and power and data as part of the internal improvements at the administrative headquarters.
In addition to bespoke designed desks, we provided modern sit-stand desking with both electronic and manual crank height adjustable facilities, office seating, storage cupboards and metal lockers throughout 5 floors of mixed office space.
We worked hard to ensure we understood the requirements of the Council, taking into consideration any privacy or security requirements, whilst utilising floor space and ensuring that the open-plan workspace flowed throughout.
As part of a complete project managed solution, we provided phased deliveries to ensure we could minimise any disruption to the council, factoring in ferry crossings and overnight stays to make certain the installation was completed on time and to budget.
