Refurbishment of London office suite that inspires smart working and collaboration.
London and Quadrant Housing (L&Q) is a regulated charitable housing association and one of the UK’s most successful independent social businesses, focusing on investment for existing social housing and building affordable homes to rent or buy, either with shared ownership or an outright sale.
As approved framework suppliers to ESPO (framework 282, Office Furniture) and following an additional tender selection process, we were successfully awarded a contract to source, deliver and install a complete refurbishment package to offices in central London.
Selected on our merits, we worked in partnership with Optimum Design Services, an external interior design company that was contracted by L&Q to analyse and define the best way for their workspace to be utilised with defined working areas for various teams within the charity. Working together, we successfully developed the style of the interior design, with the selection of high-quality smart-working furniture solutions, and material finishes that created innovative bursts of colour throughout the building, all of which incorporated L&Q’s professional brand and culture.
With an emphasis on user experience and comfort, the furniture selected to fulfil this project was supplied from our partner manufacturers – Orangebox.
The range combined elegance and flexibility, with the final environment consisting of positive agile spaces including informal meeting areas, collaboration and breakout zones, innovation hubs, flexible desking suites, welcome areas, and executive meeting rooms.
As part of our fully project managed solution, we phased furniture installations within the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors from March through to July to allow for a more flexible transition into the upgraded workspaces.
Further ‘added value’ services provided to L&Q included an invitation to view furniture ranges at our Kimbolton showroom, furniture demonstrations, and onsite consultations.
