It is always a pleasure to be recognised as industry leaders and the work we do, and we were thrilled when Studio Henderson reached out to us when they found our website while searching for an educational furniture provider that could meet their specific needs.
At COI, we have lots of experience of collaborating with Interior Designers like Studio Henderson, who help bring commercial visions to life. On this project for a Sixth Form in Manchester, we also collaborated with the contractor’s Building Projects team to ensure every piece of furniture was perfectly tailored to meet the specifications provided.
The goal of this project was to create a welcoming and collaborative environment for students to work and socialise. Our versatile furniture solutions helped create a Cafe Area, Mezzanine Study Area, Ground Floor Collaborative Study Area, and Administration Offices, which all had their own unique needs and requirements.
The standout feature of the project was the made-to-measure, fitted banquet-style seating in the Cafe Area, which maximised the footprint of the area, whilst creating a practical but comfortable atmosphere.
Additionally, we supplied panel-ended bench-style tables and bench seating to the Mezzanine Study Area, which provides students with space to collaborate, work on group projects, brainstorm, and get creative.
Our comprehensive best value approach included completed Risk and Method Statements along with a delivery schedule. By providing these additional resources, we were able to alleviate some of the stress for the Building Project Team, who were managing multiple contractors on-site.

We’re delighted with the fresh furniture fit-out on behalf of Studio Henderson. The designer had a clear vision for the space and our educational furniture solutions complemented it. The result is a stunning and welcoming space that is perfect for students to unwind or complete their work.
