Inspiring reconfiguration of floor space to create new ways of working for council offices:
We recently undertook a collaborative project with Buckinghamshire Council, which sought to optimise the office space at their Gateway Offices in Aylesbury. Our goal was to re-imagine the existing area and create an environment that would lend itself to enhanced work productivity and flexibility for all workers.
The outcome is a floor plan comprised of agile working spaces, generous breakout areas, and plenty of room for collaboration between team members.
We believe this reconfiguration will help employees find creativity and inspiration, and help improve productivity while at work, and also providing them with a modern layout that best suits their flexible office needs.
Working with the Buckinghamshire facilities team, and design architects we were able to create a modern working environment for their offices incorporating the intelligent use of screens, modular furniture, and design techniques.
Using our expertise, we provided tailored space plans that incorporated both existing and new furniture. This flexibility allowed us to incorporate the current style of the office while also providing fresh, modern updates to the workspace; the result is an innovative office that has blended old and new to create a productive and inspiring workplace for everyone who works there.
Our comprehensive added value services also included an office move service to make the refurbishment process smoother and more efficient. Not only did we carefully transport furniture to its new destination, but we also provided recycling and disposal services for unwanted items.
The project management team worked hard to ensure that the project met its tight timeline, collaborating with local authorities, building contractors, and electrical teams to make this project a reality. The team’s hard work paid off and the project was completed on-time and within budget.
