With a long-standing and valued partnership, COI was invited to submit a tender proposal by a University Facilities and Estates Management team to refurbish an impressive open-plan multipurpose facility that incorporated a modern dining area, an aesthetically pleasing breakout zone, and an innovative collaborative study environment.
COI worked closely with the University’s team to agree on the final specification of loose furniture that included biophilic plant designs, collaboration tables and benching, customised booth seating with electrical outlets, alongside a variety of soft seating and table solutions.
To complete the new environment, we arranged a project-managed installation programme that included the removal of existing furniture into a new location within the university. The installation was completed over a weekend to minimise any disruption to the day-to-day running of the University and ensure the project was completed smoothly and as seamlessly as possible.
