As part of a refurbishment programme, we supplied ergonomic office chairs and a range of soft seating for a sophisticated and exciting collaborative breakout suite at the new high-tech Council building at Fletton Quays, which is home to 880 team members who recently relocated to the area.
Ergonomic Seating:
The modern high back task chair selected as a universal solution for all 880 Council employees was chosen for its durable and flexible design, with stylish mesh back and ratchet back height adjustment.
Mesh back chairs are the preferred choice for many businesses and designers due to its multipurpose slim back design that offers the user support and adjustability with the mesh backing allowing airflow and comfort.
Breakout Soft Seating Range:
The Council required an innovative area away from the everyday office desk setup that offered flexibility to co-workers and visitors to hold informal meetings, team briefings as well as being a space to relax and socialise.
The Orangebox Cwtch range was chosen for its elegant design with a full range of low, midi and high back sofa systems available. The contrasting seam detail allowed us to add colour contrast fabric to the seat pads to perfectly match the striking and impressive interior design of the modern flagship building.
The new agile working areas have been greatly welcomed by the Council’s employees who have found the shared workspaces comfortable, inviting and aesthetically pleasing.
