The new Sixth Form College sited on the upper playing field of King Edward VI School offers more than 30 A-Level courses to 1700 students aged from 16 to 19 from across the whole of West Suffolk and beyond.
Working in partnership with a major construction company, COI was thrilled to be part of the refurbishment of the innovative new build school which comprised state-of-the-art science labs, purpose-built classrooms, motivating offices, high-quality dining halls, and an engaging library environment.
The brief for the loose furniture refurbishment was to create a fun, vibrant, and practical learning space where students can study, engage, and work collaboratively. The finishes and colours were carefully selected to create a bright and welcoming setting.
As part of a project managed service, COI Sales Consultant Richard Pyke was involved in initial tender processes, which was won on the quality of our conceptual ideas, flexible furniture specifications, and value for money. Additional services included consultations and advice, detailed delivery and installation schedules, risk assessments, and method statements.
We have received great feedback following the completion of the project, and we are delighted to have been part of creating a modern and inspiring learning facility.
