New build transformation of Student Breakout Space at Sixth Form Centre in Manchester.
At the School of Health Sciences, students work hard day in and day out, and they especially deserve a space to relax and recharge. So, when we received a call from the senior school administrator, we were thrilled to be able to provide high-quality furniture to outfit a student break-out space that would foster inspiration, creativity and encourage academic success. Knowing that we were also chosen based on a recommendation from a client at the esteemed University of Nottingham was also humbling and a testament to our already-established collaboration with the campus.
To ensure we provided a conducive environment for the students, we visited the site, provided detailed 3D space plans, discussed materials, and finishes that would enhance the overall atmosphere of the environment. We also arranged a delivery schedule to ensure we met the deadline requirements of the university.
Furnishing the perfect learning environment for students requires thought and experience. The student breakout furniture in this instance was selected particularly with durability in mind, knowing that high footfall can bring general wear and tear to communal spaces. So, to add an extra layer of protection, vinyl upholstery was chosen for the soft seating. Not only does it provide extra durability, but it is also versatile and an easy-to-clean solution.
As part of our project-managed service, we included detailed risk and method statements alongside our full aftercare service.
