As a forward-thinking business with strong sustainability and environmental values, and a commitment to support local charities, we’re overjoyed we have been able to make a positive impact in our local community by donating a number of classroom chairs to a school in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Our active role in ‘giving back’ in a meaningful way is driven by our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy where we endeavour to reduce our impact on the environment. So, when we had an opportunity to make a difference and support a local pre-school, we jumped at the chance to not only help a great cause but also give the surplus chairs a second lease of life!
The donation was gratefully received by the team at Warboys Underfives Pre-school, which are also a registered charity run by a committee of parent and community volunteers.
Our donation of the Titan one-piece chair is a popular choice in schools due to its robustness and easy-to-clean structure. This range also provides several features including a moulded carry handle, stack-ability, anti-tilt, and suitable strength, stability, and ergonomic certification.
Rachel Fletcher, Pre-school Manager of Warboys Underfives Pre-school is thrilled with the donation, here’s what she had to say:
“Thank you so much for thinking of us. Your donation of chairs has helped us to improve both our inside and outside learning spaces for the children and the team.”
